Discover Our Uniqueness
Building Products Development, Inc. (BPD) focuses on developing and producing
state-of-the-art products for the metal construction industry. Since
inception we have devoted our resources to developing a standing seam clip
with exceptional performance that can be easily adapted to fit nearly any standing
seam profile. The NC3000 Series standing seam clip was developed because we
saw a need for a better sealant transfer method. We believed improvements to this
portion of the clip, combined with other new developments and improving overall
clip performance would benefit the standing seam market. We were right, and now
other products are being reviewed and are under consideration for future development.
BPD currently has three employees and several independent associates who
work in design, development, prototyping and testing of the company's products.
Heading up the company is president, Dale Alltizer, and vice-president, Leo Neyer,
with over 70 years of combined experience in the metal construction industry.
Our designers hold over 25 patents on various roof systems, components, and methods.
Our team continually listens to field needs and reviews the latest changes to building codes searching for new product needs and existing product improvements. We have
teamed up with Logan Stampings to handle the manufacturing and shipping of our
products. In our more than 20-year relationship with Logan, no roof installation has
been delayed due to stamped parts not being on the jobsite. Their quality consciousness, superb customer service and on-time product delivery seemed a perfect match for our
innovative designs.
BPD maintains extensive testing and engineering facilities. Research and development is
currently underway for another revolutionary product that we anticipate will increase roof
uplift resistance while reducing overall roof costs. We will continue to expand our standing
seam roof accessory part line. There will be more options for end dams, back-up plates and
cinch straps, and corrugation closures covering a wider range of panel profiles.
